Approved Rice varieties in Pakistan

Approved Rice varieties in Pakistan

There are mainly three (3) kinds of rice sorts in Pakistan, which can be produced for native consumption abs well for export. These are Basmati (fragrant), IRRI selection (medium long grain) and impressive grain (cold tolerant types). Throughout the world, Basmati rice is rather well-known for its pleasant aroma blended with consuming qualities and best possible cooking. The medium long grain rice varieties are typically produced in Sindh area and supply superior yield than basmati rice varieties.
