Experts hope of bumper crops due to rain spells

The agricultural mavens have expressed hope that the consecutive rain spells that started in January and feature been continuing in the second month of the 12 months with some intervals, would be a blessing for all seasonal crops, fruit orchids and vegetables.

He stated that the wheat cultivation targets for crop season 2018-19 used to be set at 8.765 million hectares which was stored fairly down via 100,000 hectares as compared to the remaining season due to excessive home stocks.
Dr Imtiaz Ahmad Gopang stated that current spell of rains would convey about a certain affect on wheat because the crop used to be on the vegetative growth and showers at this level would lend a hand in enhancing of tillering which would boost the output of the crop.
