An exhibition of greater than a hundred and fifty medicinal plants and vegetation opened at Karachi university (KU) on Friday. Organised via international Centre for Chemical and organic Sciences (ICCBS), the display will continue to be open for a week between 2.30pm and 5pm each day.
The medicinal species on show included Adenium obesum regarded to have anti-tumour/antimicrobial houses, Aegle marmelos (anti-diabetic), Allamanda blanchetii (antimicrobial, antioxidants) and Allamanda cathartica (anti-tumour).
